“We were excellent tonight. Overall great team effort. Our serving was incredible, our setting improved and our overall efficiency as a team was impressive. Really fun to be a part of a great team win. Everyone contributed and we got better as a team. Hat’s off to Junior Oyin Opawumi who had 29 kills off of 59 attempts. Oyin put the team on her back especially in the biggest moments of the game. Junior Fallon Erickson set a great game from the first point to the last and Junior Coco Kliman made some major plays towards the end of the match. Junior Elise Tsai had 5 aces and changed the game from the service line. Junior Evangeline Little played a steady game as libero which was a new role for her. Junior Emerson Evans had some key kills throughout the match when we needed her to score. Hoping we can build off this win and keep getting better each day.” said coach Jordon Dyer.
