At Cate, we really believe each person contributes to the ‘spirit of this place.’ Together, we are building an environment where we can show up as our authentic selves. Cate is a place to live, learn, and grow—both individually and collectively.
A central part of this journey is discovering who we are. In our residential community, we are continually inspired by the diverse perspectives around us, coming from people with different cultures, identities, and experiences.
We are intentional not only about cultivating a diverse community of students and adults, but also about how we teach and what we teach—both inside and outside of the classroom. Our goal is to equip students with the skills to understand how their unique identities shape their experiences. By the time students graduate, they will possess the competencies necessary to navigate a diverse world with grace, respect, and empathy.
At Cate, our community thrives on joy, kindness, and a shared commitment to fostering a sense of belonging for everyone. I hope you will immerse yourself in this community, whether through one of our many student affinity groups, participating in cultural events or club meetings, or taking advantage of the countless other opportunities in our classrooms, co-curriculars, activities, and residential spaces.
You belong here. Welcome!
