Rams Edge Out Foothill Tech in Thrilling Four-Game Match

Cate Girls Varsity played against Foothill Tech High School on Tuesday, September 17th.

The Rams got off to a hot start in the first game, breaking away and maintaining a lead until they closed out the first game 25-21. Foothill Tech bounced back thanks to a long serving run and were able to win the second game 25-21. The Rams stepped up in the third game by breaking away and closing the game out 25-14. The Rams were down by 5 points in the fourth game but managed to bounce back late and clinch the match with a 25-22 win.

“Foothill Tech played a good game tonight, hat’s off to their team. We served well which ended up being our saving grace. Junior Oyin Opawumi led the team in Aces (5) and Kills (22). Props to Junior Evangeline Little for serving a 7-point comeback at the end when we were down 18-22! Junior Fallon Erickson did a great job of stepping into a new role as setter and leading us to victory.
