Lunar New Year

It was a festive Lunar New Year on the Mesa with a variety of celebrations, beginning with the Lunar New Year-themed Winter Formal in Booth Commons on Saturday, February 10. The Asian Culture and Entertainment (ACE) club hosted a celebration following Winter Formal with food, snacks, and games at Chinese Instructor Song Ge’s home.

In the classroom, students watched a Chinese Lunar New Year Gala Show, made red envelopes with New Year’s wishes, and ate Asian snacks. There was also a potluck held over the weekend where students made Japanese, Korean, and Chinese food.
