Clay is the vehicle through which you’ll explore the possibilities of 3D sculpture and design.
You’ll explore shape and form, gain familiarity with the medium of clay and glaze by undertaking stimulating and challenging projects in sculptural design. You will throw your clay on a wheel in the Firestone Ceramics Studio, open, well-lit, cheerful, and well-equipped in every way.
In the ceramics program you won’t just make standard forms well, you’ll imagine and create your own forms beautifully.
