Boys Lacrosse

Keep Scrolling

The Cate boys lacrosse team’s history dates back six decades to when it competed in the first-ever interscholastic games in the state of California against rivals Ojai Valley School and Thacher School in 1967.

With a strong tradition that has unified alumni for over a half-century, the boys lacrosse program continues to maintain their place as one of the top small-school programs in California. Calling the picturesque Nion Tucker, Jr. ’40 Field its home, the Rams lacrosse program teams begin the season in mid-February, nestled below the rugged Santa Ynez mountains and a view of the iconic Pacific Ocean to the south.

The team competes in the Channel League (Dos Pueblos, Grace Brethren, San Marcos, Santa Barbara, & Thacher).
