Surfing

The classic California pastime is a vibrant part of the outdoors culture at Cate.

The program is designed for novices as well as students who are skilled and comfortable in the waves. With spectacular surf spots lining the coast surrounding the campus, including the world famous Rincon Point, students have an opportunity to get in the water all winter long.

Each day students head off the Mesa in search of the perfect wave from Ventura to Goleta. Students will also have an opportunity to hone their skills during morning surf sessions and weekend trips.
