Lauren Ellis brings a wealth of athletic training experience to Cate. A Ventura County native, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Athletic Training from Sacramento State University, where she worked with Division I and community college teams. She went on to complete her master’s degree at the University of West Alabama, serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with full autonomy over four athletic teams.

Lauren’s career includes a fellowship program at UC Davis, working with cross country and track and field teams, and a position at Occidental College, where she supported cross country, track and field, women’s volleyball, and basketball.

At Cate, Lauren is an athletic trainer, advisor, and dorm parent. She lives in Carpinteria with her husband and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Watson. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, golfing, spending time at the beach, and being with family.
