MA, University of West Alabama

Originally from Ventura County, California, Lauren began pursuing her career at California State University, Sacramento. As an undergrad, she worked with a diverse spectrum of Division I teams as well as community college athletics. Lauren graduated in 2014 with her BS in Athletic Training. Following graduation and becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer, Lauren attended the University of West Alabama to pursue her Master of Art in Teaching degree, with a concentration and emphasis in Athletic Training. Lauren was a full-time graduate student, also working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the University, having full autonomy over her four assigned athletic teams.

After graduation in 2016, Lauren was accepted into the Fellowship program at UC Davis, where she worked primarily with the cross country and track and field teams. She traveled all over the country with these teams, including a trip to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Following her fellowship, she moved to Los Angeles to accept a full-time position with Occidental College, working primarily with cross country, track and field, women’s volleyball, and basketball.

Lauren is very excited to be working at Cate School and become part of the community. When she is not in the athletic training room, she enjoys playing volleyball, golfing, hiking, and spending time with family!
