Lisa DeLaigle combines a passion for education and a fascination with the science of learning in her role as Learning Specialist at Cate. After beginning her career as an English teacher, Lisa transitioned into learning support in 1999, dedicating herself to using research-based practices to empower students through tailored interventions and metacognitive strategies.

A credentialed teacher in California and Massachusetts, Lisa has attended Learning Disabilities Association conferences and engaged in immersive networking at high school and university learning centers across California. Her accolades include the Spirit of Excellence Award, a Teacher of the Year nomination, and a Golden Bell nomination for designing innovative courses.

Lisa enjoys hiking, yoga, and beach walks, often with her two adult daughters. She is committed to fostering a supportive and empowering learning environment for students.
