A decades-old tradition, Sunset Ceremony marks the start and end of the new school year.
Students, faculty, and staff gather on Parsonage Lawn at the tolling of Macbeth, the School’s bell, just before sunset. Head of School Alexandra Lockett addresses the community, and representatives from the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades reflect on the beginning of the year.
